Camp OAC is excited to welcome campers back for four weeks of day camp this summer, hosted at St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Kelowna — bringing all the Camp OAC magic that makes summer unforgettable, while we continue rebuilding at the lake.

We’re ready to bring camp back to life with four weeks of high-energy day camp filled with high-energy games, arts and crafts, faith and nature programming, team challenges, laughter, and connection.

Summer 2026 marks the beginning of Camp OAC’s return and our Soft Reopening Year, working toward the full return of overnight camp in 2027.

Rebuilding memories, reconnecting campers, and bringing camp back to life

A new chapter begins as we restore the camp experiences generations have loved over 75 years. The loss of Camp OAC was heartbreaking. But the response has been inspiring.

As we continue to rebuild what was lost during the 2023 McDougall Creek Wildfires, the rebuilt Camp OAC will be more inclusive, safer, adaptable and accessible to welcome children, families, and communities year-round.

The rebuilt Camp OAC will feature modern, year-round facilities designed to support campers, staff, and community events. Plans include two new cabin complexes for up to 96 overnight campers; a lakefront dining hall; a multipurpose programming space; staff accommodations; upgraded medical and washroom facilities; a rebuilt dock and Windsong Gazebo and all the equipment needed to create those unforgettable summer memories.

Supporting infrastructure improvements will include roadways, utilities, internet, and a gated entrance to ensure safe and secure operations. All new buildings are being designed with energy efficiency and environmental stewardship in mind, using modular construction and low-impact foundations to minimize disturbance to the site.

Each milestone is made possible by community support. Insurance proceeds are funding the infrastructure needed to get Camp back up and running.

Support the next chapter of Camp OAC's story

This fall, Camp OAC is launching the “We’re Rebuilding the Magic of Camp” fundraising campaign to inspire the support that the Camp needs to rebuild. This campaign is the organized expression of love — a call to action for every camp family, alumnus, volunteer, parish partner, and friend of Camp OAC to help rebuild the magic of camp for the next generation.

This fall we will be looking for your support to make Camp OAC's return a reality and invest in a place where confidence grows, friendships flourish, and memories are made.
