Welcome to Camp Owaissi!

Set on the west side of Lake Okanagan in the southern interior of British Columbia, Camp Owaissi (or OAC) has given lifelong memories to its campers for more than fifty years.

Its beautiful natural surroundings and strong supportive community make for an ideal summer camp experience, and it has become much loved by many families both inside and outside our church. There are seven camps in our summer program, one for each week of July and August. Each camp is geared toward a particular age group.

Activities at Owaissi include swimming, canoeing, hiking, arts and crafts, singing, team sports, scavenger hunts, talent shows, evening campfires and various other games and activities prepared by our creative and energetic program staff. Each camp has a resident chaplain - an Anglican parish priest who leads regular worship services and provides one hour of religious instruction and discussion every day.

Camp Owaissi is a place where young people are exposed to a balanced and thoughtful approach to Christianity, as well as the values of teamwork, mutual respect and caring for others. If you are looking for a summer camp you need look no further than Camp Owaissi.
